In 1987, Aimei was started to producing the water meter spare parts and operating the water meter performance tests. After couple years of experience accumulation, the founder Mr. Dong registered Ningbo Aimei Meter Manufacture Co., Ltd. in 1996 and started to sell the produced water meters in domestic market. Nowadays, AIMEI water meter moved into a 35,000 floor area plant, has 250 people of staffs and 30 engineers among them, with the capacity to produce 380,000 pcs of water meters per month. At present, AIMEI produces the water meters from 1/2" small sizes to 24" bulk sizes, includes residential water meters (displacement meters, single jet and multi jet velocity meters), industrial turbine water meters and smart water meters (ultrasonic meters, prepaid meters and remote reading meters). Through the years, AIMEI obtains the certifications such as MID for European Standard, OIML for International Standard, NSF for meter components health through drinking water in United State, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for the Management System of the design, production and service of water meters, ISO 17025 for AIMEI Laboratory and ISO 4064 etc. From the first year of company business, AIMEI continuously invests high percent of capital into automatic production machines, upgrades the quality of exist products and develops new products, for the effectively investments, AIMEI obtains great reputations from customers over 60 countries.
